It's such a nice day today! In England we've just had the worst summer ever, its barely been sunny or warm at all, but today its pretty boiling. In fact, maybe a bit too hot (how ironic), but seeing as I don't have anything to do today its not unbearable. So being in the summery mood, I got some flowers for my room, and they are so pretty!
They also smell SO beautiful!

I Love Liz!
After reading countless rave reviews about the famous Cleanse and Polish, I decided to finally make an order on the Liz Earle website. Usually I look for a website where I can get free delivery (like look fantastic etc), but Liz Earle products are not sold on many websites, so I just went to the official website and made my account. Of course being the skincare addict I am, and after many hours 'research', I decided to take the plunge and order the Skin Tonic and the Skin Repair Light Moisturiser too. Because I bought this items, I got a 'Skin Savers' kit free, worth £16 I think, so I was pleased about that. I waited for my order and when it arrived I was SO amazed (and so glad I'd ordered directly from the website!). Everything I'd ordered was handwrapped individually, with a little note saying who'd wrapped it, and a cute little letter, along with a lovely product guide and newsletter. Honestly I was so pleased with all this, and that's before I'd even tried the products! The extra care and attention that had been put into my parcel made me instantly love Liz Earle.
I'm not going to go into a full review of the line, because there's so many great ones already, but the products are just as brilliant as I was expecting. Having what some may call 'problem' skin, I'd gotten so used to the harsh, smelly anti-blemish products I'd been using that it was SUCH a welcome change to apply these products to my face. They all smell completely divine and I actually enjoy using them every morning and night. The Cleanse and Polish cleanser really does live up to its reputation, it's just amazing. I've just become so addicted to Liz Earle that I'm actually looking forward to having to order some more! Also, I'm going to a counter in a few weeks (they sell Liz Earle at selected John Lewis stores), and I can't wait! Liz Earle is just a great, great skincare line and if anybody was thinking about buying their products, I'd say go for it, I just don't see how you could be disappointed!

Hello August!
It's the first day of August today, so I thought I'd do a post on my July Favourites!
The first thing I have been completely LOVING through the whole of July (and will probably carry on loving the whole of August) is The Office U.S. I've bought quite a few of the boxsets and it's honestly is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I've never been a huge fan of Steve Carrell, but his character in this, Michael Scott, is just hilarious. There's also the gripping love-story between Pam and Jim which really keeps you glued to the series, and other hilarious characters including Dwight and Andy (from the hangover - just as funny in this!). I would definitely recommend this to anyone, its brilliant.
The second thing I've used through the whole month is Garnier Summer Body Lotion. I usually don't like gradual tanners, but this one is perfect as sometimes instant tanners (like St Moriz) really dry out my skin. This delivers a lovely even colour, a pleasant apricot smell and is practically fool proof. I am very pale, but what I like to do is buy the one for medium dark, so it shows up after one application.
I've also bought a lot of corally/pink make-up products recently. I've been loving Ever Hip Lipstick from Mac, which is a beautiful coral, leaning towards pink. I think you can still get it from the Fashion Flower collection. I've been wearing Smile Dazzleglass (also from Mac), another coral with lots of pink sparkle, over the top of this, and its really a perfect combination.
Also from the Fashion Flower collection, I got Alpha Girl Beauty Powder. I was very skeptical to buy this as I'd read many reviews claiming it was very sheer with rubbish pay-off, but I'm so glad I bought this. Maybe because I'm quite pale (although I've been wearing fake tan a lot), but it really shows up fine on me, a very pretty peachy pink which goes very nicely with the lip combo above. You do have to apply a bit more, but its massive so its not really a problem. It has a beautiful flower imprint as well, but as you can see I've used mine so much its fading!
Another product I've practically worn non-stop is Posietint by Benefit. This is a sample I got from Glamour Magazine, and once it runs out I'm definitely going to be buying a full size! Its such a cute pink, but what I really love about it is it does NOT budge! Clearly I love my cheek products, and I hate when they fade, so lately I've been wearing this underneath everything, so that when my powder blushes fade, I'm still left with a pretty pink glow. Also looks lovely on lips for a subtle baby pink!
As if I needed another pink/peach cheek product, I also bought Rose Quartz MSF from the semi-precious Mac collection. It's just gorgeous, very glow-y, great highlight and blush!
Finally, I am so glad Herbal Essences has released their 'Tousle Me Softly' range over in the U.K now! I've been using their intensive mask every week, and its really great. Leaves my hair SO soft, managable and light, and smells amazing! What more could you want?!

p.s...
Oh, and I've also been in love with these cupcakes from waitrose. Frankly I think some cupcakes can be overrated, I hate it when they've just got a big slab of coloured butter on the top of them. But these are DELISH! Seriously, if you like cupcakes, RUN to waitrose right now, you will not regret it.

Reginaaaaa!
I am currently obsessed with Regina Spektor, and I have been for about four months now.Usually I'll become obsessed with a song or a few songs from an album and then I'll get bored of them. But not with Regi. She sings about the weirdest things, and incorporates little stories, (like Wallet, a song about someone finding a wallet), or noises into her songs (for example, one of my favourites, Eet) and she has the most amazing voice, she could literally sing anything and it would sound good. My favourite album by her is her latest, Far. I honestly love every song on it, but my favourites would be Folding Chair, The Calculation, Eet...and many more. Begin to Hope is great as well, it has Fidelity, which was featured on an Estee Lauder advert a while ago. Also the movie 500 Days Of Summer features one of her best songs, Us (from Soviet Kitsch, another brilliant album), at the opening credits, and another great one, Hero. On top of all this, she also wrote a beautiful song, The Call, for the latest Narnia movie. She's just the best, and I think she'll continute taking over my Top Played playlist on my iPod for many months to come...
